We are looking for a well versed sales pro that has had exposure to global marketplaces, and have their sights set on exponential growth. Someone versed on startup growth between $10k to $6million ARR, including but not limited to an ACV of $12k to $25k.
Your first moments into the flame will be to lead and execute a strategy for an aggressive 6 month growth for a marketplace platform targeting customers across the globe at the individual, enterprise and institution levels.
After which, it'll be the usual:
Reporting to the CEO, the VP of sales’ primary objective is to partner with marketing and to drive growth and revenue. The ideal candidate can “helicopter up and down,” to be highly strategic in allocating resources to drive outcomes, but also hands-on to ensure successful execution. .

- Understanding the post-sales buyer journey to understand which types of buyers are at the highest risk for churn
- Understanding why revenue targets are missed and custom-crafts a plan to address the problem at the root
- Creating a repeatable, measurable, scalable process to engage the buyer where they are versus where you want to force them to be
- Recruiting and hiring the best salespeople to do the right work for your stage
- Helping them scout, engage, and close better deals

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN A VP of Sales?
The ideal candidate will be a proven, results-oriented leader with a history of driving demand in a hyper-growth marketplace, datacenter, or ecosystem software company. S/he will have a successful track record in high growth B2B (vertical SaaS). This VP of Sales has built and scaled an enterprise marketing organization and hired and led a team of “A” players, while successfully elevating the brand.
