    We are looking for a well versed sales pro that has had exposure to global marketplaces, and have their sights set on exponential growth. Someone versed on startup growth between $10k to $6million ARR, including but not limited to an ACV of $12k to $25k.


    Your first moments into the flame will be to lead and execute a strategy for an aggressive 6 month growth for a marketplace platform targeting customers across the globe at the individual, enterprise and institution levels.

    After which, it'll be the usual:

    Reporting to the CEO, the VP of sales’ primary objective is to partner with marketing and to drive growth and revenue. The ideal candidate can “helicopter up and down,” to be highly strategic in allocating resources to drive outcomes, but also hands-on to ensure successful execution. .



    • Working with Marketing to understand the best GTM (go to market) strategy
    • Understanding the post-sales buyer journey to understand which types of buyers are at the highest risk for churn
    • Understanding why revenue targets are missed and custom-crafts a plan to address the problem at the root
    • Creating a repeatable, measurable, scalable process to engage the buyer where they are versus where you want to force them to be
    • Recruiting and hiring the best salespeople to do the right work for your stage
    • Helping them scout, engage, and close better deals
    • Build, reinforce, and strengthen your culture
    • Scaling your sales team for growth



    The ideal candidate will be a proven, results-oriented leader with a history of driving demand in a hyper-growth marketplace, datacenter, or ecosystem software company. S/he will have a successful track record in high growth B2B (vertical SaaS). This VP of Sales has built and scaled an enterprise marketing organization and hired and led a team of “A” players, while successfully elevating the brand.


    Chief Marketing Officer Business and Domain Expertise:

    • 7+ years of well-rounded growth sales experience in positions of increasing responsibility. Ideally a combination of large companies and emerging startup growth companies.
    • Worked in competitive environments
    • Sales success with a high growth company. 
    • Sales leadership for a market-making company strongly preferred.
    • Ability to identify prospects through analysis of needs, usage behavior, and account potential.
    • Proven success creating a strategy to sell to line of business owners at the department level, and “expand”/ build out to scale.
    • Industry related experience. 
    • Significant success scaling sales programs within software or SaaS at the enterprise level.
    • Has dynamic personality and credibility to represent the firm in these relationships.
    • Proven success record of partnering with marketing to drive lead generation and revenues up while driving the cost of sales and time to close down.
    • Track record of building a metrics-driven, highly accountable sales organization focused on measurable outcomes.
